Mr. Fung is currently an Assistant Lecturer of School of Public Health, LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. He joined the University in 2024. He has received Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science in the University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Business Administration in the Open University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology Studies in Hong Kong Metropolitan University and Bachelor of Law in University of London. He also obtained Master of Arts in Mathematics and Pedagogy in the Education University of Hong Kong, Master of Education in Advanced Teaching in University of the People, Master of Public Health in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Master of Leadership in Service and Innovation in the University of Queensland. In terms of professional qualification, he is a certified ESG Planner (CEP®), Certified Internal Auditor, certified Financial Risk Manager and a member of CPA Australia.
Mr. Fung has a wide spectrum of research interest, ranging from emerging contemporary business management issues to the use of innovation and technology in medical practices. He has presented in several conferences on the potential use of telemedicine in Hong Kong healthcare practices, as well as the assessment of carbon neutrality from a business perspective. He also has published academic peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters with academia from various Hong Kong institutions on the interdisciplinary issues (e.g., AI education).
Prior to his work in HKU, he has taught in a local self-financed tertiary institution for three years. He has extensive teaching experience at undergraduate levels in leadership training program, integrated business functions (accounting, law, management, marketing, business communication and finance), international business management.
